१. मिथ्या व्यवहार जिससे दूसरे के मन में मिथ्या प्रतीति उत्पन्न हो । धूर्तता या छल जिससे दूसरा भ्रम में पड़े । ऐसी युक्ति या चालाकी जिसके कारण दूसरा कोई अपना कर्तव्य भूल जाय । भुलावा । छल । दगा । जैसे, हमारे साथ ऐसा घोखा । यौ॰—घोखा घड़ी । धोखेबाज ।
